What is DTZ?
DTZ (Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer) is a state German exam at A2–B1 level. It is taken for integration and often for a residence permit or citizenship. AstroLingua prepares for all 13 parts of the exam.
What happens if I get A2 instead of B1?
The DTZ certificate states the level you reached in each part of the exam. B1 is required for naturalisation and for some residence permits; with A2 you can retake the exam — for integration-course participants the BAMF usually pays for one retake. Check the exact conditions with your school. AstroLingua shows which parts are weakest for you — train those.
Is it just a set of words?
